A Chrome extension to help you learn Japanese by NHK News Easy.
JP News Helper is an extension to help users learn Japanese through NHK News Easy (every news' url starts with https://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/easy/). You can start from here (https://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/easy/) to choose news and use this extension. I used three experimental Google Chrome API: Translator, Summarizer and Language Model to analyze the news page. Through the sidebar provided by this extension, users with little Japanese level and medium English Level can easily understand what the news is talking about, they can also have some chats with the AI built in Chrome. Also, this is my personal learning method to start learning Japanese through NHK Japanese Easy website. I would like to share with others the functionalities of this extension.
