Jotter — save words as you read

Save any word you meet on the web — with the sentence you found it in — and learn it before you forget it.

Most words worth keeping turn up mid-sentence, in someone else's prose. Highlight one, right-click, and choose "Save to Jotter". The word goes to your jotter library along with the sentence it lived in — so the definition you get back is the sense you actually met, not the first one in the dictionary. • Right-click any selection to save it, with its surrounding sentence • Or type a word straight into the popup • Send captures to a collection you choose • Right-click captures made while offline are queued and sync automatically once you're back online — unless your link has expired, in which case Jotter will ask you to relink • See your last ten captures at a glance Reviewing, browsing and stats live in the jotter app; this extension is for capture.
