Tracklift

Download SoundCloud tracks ready for rekordbox: the original file when the artist allows it, else the public stream, tagged.

Tracklift helps DJs get SoundCloud tracks into their library, ready to play. • A Download button on every track, playlist and artist page, in SoundCloud's own style. • The artist's original file (WAV, FLAC, AIFF…) when the artist has enabled downloads. • Otherwise the track's public stream, checked for full length and cleaned up so DJ software (rekordbox) reads it without trouble, with title, artist, album and artwork. • A whole playlist in one click, saved into a folder named after it. • A sort menu for playlists: date added, reversed, A → Z, Z → A. • Optional, for rekordbox users on Windows: with the free Tracklift companion running on your PC, a mark shows which tracks are already in your rekordbox library, and a ring follows each new track until it is added. What Tracklift does not do • It does not get around any protection: Go+ (subscriber-only) tracks and tracks only available as encrypted streams are not downloaded, and the button says why. • It collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no Tracklift server. It only talks to SoundCloud (to read tracks, as the website itself does) and, if you installed it, to the companion on your own computer (127.0.0.1).
