How It Works When you open a research article, Open Access Helper checks it automatically. It looks for the article's DOI (a unique code for the paper) and searches for a free version. If a free version exists, a badge appears. Just click the badge to open the article. Before you click, you can hover over the badge to see what type of version it is: * Published Version – the final, official version * Accepted Version – the version accepted after peer review, before final formatting * Submitted Version – the first version submitted by the authors Easy Access Through Your University Does your university use EZProxy or OpenAthens? Set your university's domain one time (for example: harvard.edu). After that, one click connects you to your university library, even when you're off campus. Safe and Private All links go to official, legal copies of the articles. We do not collect personal data. We only collect anonymous usage statistics, to help us improve the extension. 👉 Install Open Access Helper today and spend less time searching, more time reading.
