Preview eligible links with configurable Shift-hover, Long-hover, or Hybrid activation.

Link Peek lets you check an HTTPS link without leaving the page. Hold Shift over a link, leave the pointer still, or choose Hybrid mode. A scrollable preview opens beside the link while you continue reading. Page mode keeps the destination's layout and safe styling. Reader mode shows the main content and reuses the page already fetched for the preview. When available, Link Peek keeps HTTPS images and safe embedded or linked stylesheets. YouTube watch, Shorts, and shortened links use YouTube's official embed URL for the preview. If a page cannot be previewed, the panel explains why and offers "Open in new tab" or "Open in new window". The destination never opens on its own. The preview is an inert snapshot. Link Peek removes scripts, forms, active media, and link navigation. It does not bypass X-Frame-Options or CSP protections. Requests follow HTTPS redirects only and omit credentials and referrers. HTTP pages and links keep their normal browser behavior. Link Peek has no accounts, ads, analytics, telemetry, or developer-operated backend. Preferences and temporary preview data stay on this device. Some pages are unavailable by design, including sign-in pages, downloads, protected frames, pages that build their content with JavaScript, JSON, XML, Markdown, PDF, media, unsafe redirects, and slow or oversized responses. You can still open those destinations yourself. Options let you set activation mode and delays, preview width, placement, transparency, disabled sites, tab focus, Shift+Enter activation, and a global pause switch.
