JobTrail gives every job posting an ATS score against your resume on the spot, so you spend your applying time on the roles that actually fit. Open a job posting on LinkedIn, Greenhouse, or Lever, open the JobTrail side panel, then click Run ATS. You get a 0–100 ATS score, a tier (Strong, Very Good, Good, Needs Work), and a three-color chip view of what's a direct match, what's adjacent, and what's a gap. When a role is worth pursuing, click Save to drop it into your own Google Sheet — title, company, salary, link, ATS score, and what to strengthen on your resume, all in one row. Free by default. Private by default. • Scoring runs on Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano, on your device. Your resume never leaves your machine. • No signup. No account. No backend. No telemetry. There is no server to receive your data. • Optional cloud AI: if you want refined ATS factor scoring (keyword fit, role match, qualifications, impact, domain), paste your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Gemini API key in Settings. Your account, your bill, your data. • Saves go to a Google Sheet you own. JobTrail creates one tracker sheet on your first save and can only ever access that sheet — never your other files. What you see in the side panel • Title, company, salary, location, company stage — read directly from the page. • ATS Match score with a color-coded tier and a one-line reason. • Three chip rows: green for direct matches, amber for adjacent skills worth strengthening on your resume, red for true gaps. • Save button that writes one row to your tracker sheet (13 columns, set up automatically on first save). Where it works • LinkedIn, Greenhouse, and Lever job pages on desktop Chrome. What JobTrail is not • Not a job board. Not a recruiter outreach tool.
