NAME JobTrail — Job Application Tracker SHORT DESCRIPTION Save jobs from all websites with automatic filling on Indeed and LinkedIn (signed in), track applications, keep notes, and get interview reminders. DETAILED DESCRIPTION Keep your job search organized without another spreadsheet. JobTrail saves the jobs you want to apply for and tracks the applications you have already sent, all from Chrome. Keep the listing, link, notes, and next steps together in a simple dashboard or side panel. SAVE JOBS WHILE YOU BROWSE • Automatically fill job title, company, location, description, and URL from supported Indeed and LinkedIn (signed in) listings. • On other websites, use “Extract from page,” select/highlight or double-click the text you want, and send it straight to the form. • Review and edit the details before saving. • Keep a plain-text copy of the description that remains available even if the original listing changes or disappears. TRACK YOUR APPLICATIONS • Organize jobs by Interested, Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Accepted, Rejected, or Withdrawn. • Update a status directly from your list, or open a job to edit its details and personal notes. • Search titles, companies, locations, and notes. • Filter by status and application date, and sort by recent updates, application date, status, or company. • Browse 10 or 25 jobs per page, with a separate scrolling area for longer lists. PREPARE FOR INTERVIEWS Add the next interview's date and time, keep preparation notes, and choose a reminder 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 day before it. Upcoming interviews appear in your dashboard. BACK UP YOUR PROGRESS Export a JSON backup and restore it with JSON import. Export your full list to CSV when you want to work with it in a spreadsheet. LOCAL STORAGE, NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED Your saved jobs, descriptions, and notes are stored in your Chrome profile on your device. JobTrail does not send this data to its developer and contains no advertising or analytics. Website access is requested when you choose to capture details from a listing. If a field is missing, select the text manually or paste it into the form. • Keep Chrome running and allow notifications for interview reminders. Reminders cannot wake a sleeping device. • Saved descriptions are text snapshots.
