JobFit helps you compare your resume with job requirements, wherever you are looking for work. Import a PDF or paste your resume, open a job posting, then click the extension or use the context menu to check the page or selected text. Local checks are free and unlimited. They run on your device without uploading your resume or requiring an account, subscription or model download. Job postings and resumes are checked in English, Hebrew, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian, both by the local check and by AI; the interface is available in the same seven languages. You can also run the AI analysis on postings in other languages. Results are tested mainly on software and IT roles. You can also describe what you are looking for — level, technologies, roles you are not interested in, location, work mode, how much missing experience you accept. The profile is optional and stays on your device; the AI analysis takes it into account and explains its verdict with short reasons tied to a requirement, your profile or a quote from your resume. Optional AI analysis uses your own OpenRouter API key. Saving a key does not start an AI request. When you click the AI analysis button, the extension sends prepared resume text, job text and your profile (if filled in) directly to OpenRouter and its selected model provider. Reopening an unchanged job shows the saved result without a new request. Requests may cost money on your OpenRouter account; JobFit does not sell an AI subscription or collect payments. You can remove the saved key at any time. Results highlight documented overlap, missing evidence and requirements to verify. Local checks use a limited dictionary; AI can make mistakes. Percentages cover evaluated requirements and do not predict hiring outcomes. Review the original vacancy and unverified requirements yourself. JobFit never applies for jobs or sends messages on your behalf.
