Job Recorder is a browser task recorder for repetitive website work. Perform a browser workflow once, choose which values stay fixed, change each run, or stay manual, then replay the task later without writing scripts. Use Job Recorder to automate repetitive browser tasks such as recurring form filling, data entry, navigation, selecting options, scrolling, clicking controls, and multi-page website workflows. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the website where your repetitive task begins. 2. Click “Teach New Job”. 3. Perform the task normally with your mouse and keyboard. 4. Stop recording and review the captured workflow. 5. For each recorded field, choose: • Keep same — reuse the recorded value automatically. • Ask me — provide a new value before each run. • I’ll do this myself — pause so you can complete that step manually. 6. Save the job. 7. Run it later and provide only the values that changed. STAY IN CONTROL Automation does not have to be all-or-nothing. Job Recorder can pause when human input or review is needed. You can also stop a running job at any time. If a recorded target is missing or a website has changed, Job Recorder can stop instead of blindly continuing. Recovery options include retrying the step, selecting the correct element, skipping a step, or stopping the job. Sensitive actions and fields are treated conservatively. Passwords, authentication codes, recognized payment credentials, file selection, and other sensitive or unsupported actions are not intended to be silently automated. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Saved jobs, recorded values, and workflow data stay on your device. Job Recorder does not require an account and does not store your recorded jobs in the cloud. Anonymous product analytics are optional and are designed to measure general product usage without sending recorded field values, website URLs, page content, passwords, cookies, authentication tokens, or saved job contents. CURRENT MVP SCOPE Job Recorder works best with stable HTTP(S) workflows that stay inside one Chrome tab.
