Job Forensic reads the job posting you already have open, turns it into structured details on your device, and shows hiring signals in the toolbar. Use it when you want a quick read on a role before you apply: company, title, skills, pay, how long the posting has been open, ghost-job risk, and whether the listing looks stale or reposted. How it works Open a job posting in Chrome. Sign in with a Job Forensic account. Click Capture this tab in the toolbar popup. The extension reads the page in the browser: structured job markup, the page URL, and visible text. After sign-in, it asks the Job Forensic API for catalog insights such as ghost-job risk, listing age, and hiring activity. Results show in the popup. Open the side panel for skills, company hiring, and the captured JSON. Parsing stays on your device. Fields that are not on the page stay empty. What you see Title, company, and location from the open tab Ghost-job risk for the posting Days open, plus a stale flag How often the same role has been listed again Company and department hiring activity Skills read from the posting A copyable structured record of the job You can create an account, confirm your email, and reset a password from the popup.
