Job Fit Checker
Overview
Click to check if a job posting suits you. Reads the page, scores it against your profile, returns Apply / Maybe / Skip.
Job Fit Checker reads the job posting on the page you're looking at and tells you whether it's actually worth applying. Click the toolbar icon while you're on a LinkedIn job, a careers page, or any ATS posting (Greenhouse, Workday, Ashby, Lever, etc.). The extension extracts the role's text, sends it together with your profile to the backend, and returns a structured verdict: • Apply / Maybe / Skip — the headline call • A fit score (0–100) • Pros and cons — concrete reasons drawn from your background vs. the JD's requirements • Dealbreakers — hard rules you define (e.g. "Finnish C1 required") force a SKIP when the posting matches them To keep your profile sharp, you can refine it from any verdict ("I actually only want remote roles") and the extension rewrites the profile used for future fit checks. You can also generate a resume and cover letter tailored to the posting you just evaluated. Designed for serious job-seekers who paste 20+ JDs a week into a chat window and want to stop doing that. Set your profile once, then triage roles in a single click. (continues with GETTING STARTED / WHO RUNS THE BACKEND / WHAT IT DOES NOT DO / PRIVACY sections — full text in STORE_LISTING.md)
