When you’re on a job application page, click Auto Fill. Job Buddy scans the page, matches each field to your profile, and fills every supported field. Each filled field is color-coded so you know exactly what to review before submitting. 🟢 Green — Filled with high confidence. 🟡 Yellow — Filled successfully but worth a quick review. 🔴 Red — Job Buddy wasn’t confident enough to fill this field. Click the field to choose the correct value. ⚪ Gray — Your profile doesn’t contain this information yet. Click the field to see your options. Made a mistake? Click Undo to instantly remove everything Job Buddy filled. 🧠 Learns From Your Corrections If you manually choose a different value, Job Buddy remembers your choice for that website. Future autofills become more accurate over time. 🔄 Handles Missing Information If your profile is missing information for a detected field, Job Buddy tells you exactly what’s missing and opens the correct section of your profile. After updating your profile, return to the application tab. Job Buddy detects that the missing fields are now available and updates them without requiring another Auto Fill click. Existing filled fields remain unchanged. 📄 Resume Upload Support Store your CV or resume in the Documents section and Job Buddy will attach it to supported upload fields. No drag and drop. No searching through folders. Just click Auto Fill. 🤖 AI Features Optional Import your resume and let AI extract your profile information. Review every suggested change before anything is saved. Add your own Gemini API key in Settings to enable: * AI resume import — extract profile data from a PDF or DOCX * AI autofill assist — handle complex fields like radio buttons and checkboxes that the standard autofill pipeline cannot resolve AI features are entirely optional. Only the tab you are actively viewing is accessed. 👤 Identity Used only when you connect Google Drive backup in Settings. Not used for any other purpose. 🌐 Website Access Job Buddy requests permission to access web pages so it can recognize and fill job application forms.
