OnlineJobs.ph Job Application Assistant helps job seekers review job posts, extract key details, and draft concise application messages based on their saved profile. It is useful for applicants who want each message to reflect the specific job post before they send it. Use it to extract job details from an OnlineJobs.ph job post, generate an editable subject and application message, choose a message style, add custom instructions, improve an existing draft before sending, save recent application messages for reuse or reference, and fill selected application form fields only when you choose to. The extension is built to keep the applicant in control. It does not submit applications automatically, and the autofill feature only fills the fields selected by the user. Features The extension can extract key details from OnlineJobs.ph job posts, save a reusable job seeker profile, generate editable application subjects and messages, choose from different message styles, add custom instructions, improve existing drafts before sending, copy the subject or message when needed, save recent application messages for reference, fill selected OnlineJobs.ph application form fields only after user approval, export and import backups for profile and history data, and connect to Ollama Cloud for AI generation. First Setup To set up the extension, click the extension icon, open Settings, and fill in your profile, including your work experience. Then open the LLM tab. If you do not have an Ollama account yet, create one at https://ollama.com/signup. After signing in, create or copy your API key at https://ollama.com/settings/keys. Paste the key into the API Key field, keep the default model or enter another Ollama Cloud model you want to use, then click Save Settings and Test Connection. AI Connection This extension is focused on Ollama Cloud. The provider is Ollama Cloud, the endpoint is https://ollama.com, the default model is gpt-oss:120b, and an API key is required. Other AI providers are not shown in this version so setup stays focused and predictable. Where To Get An Ollama API Key To get an Ollama API key, go to https://ollama.com/signup if you need to create an Ollama account. Sign in to Ollama, open https://ollama.com/settings/keys, then create a new API key or copy an existing one. Paste it into Settings, then LLM, then API Key in the extension. AI Profile JSON Helper In Settings, use AI Profile JSON, then Copy Prompt, to copy a prompt for ChatGPT or another AI. Paste the AI's returned JSON block into Profile JSON, then click Import Profile JSON to fill the profile form. The JSON supports Target Roles and Job Types, so the profile can be tailored to the applicant's preferred work. Click Save Settings after reviewing the imported fields. Usage To use the extension, open an OnlineJobs.ph job post, click the extension icon, and click Extract Job Details. Review the extracted overview, choose a Message Style, and add optional Extra Instructions. Then click Generate Message. After the subject and message are generated, review them carefully. Click Improve Message if you want Ollama Cloud to polish the draft using the same guidance. Edit the subject or message if needed. Next, open the OnlineJobs.ph application form. In Apply Form Autofill, choose which fields to fill: Subject, Message, Contact Info, and/or Apply Points. Click Fill Checked Fields, review the form, then send it manually on OnlineJobs.ph. Backup And Restore Use Settings, then Backup, then Export JSON to download a backup with your profile, connection settings, message guidance, and recent history. Use Settings, then Backup, then Import JSON to restore a full backup. Use Recent History, then Export to download only saved message history. Use Recent History, then Import to restore saved message history from a history JSON file or a full backup JSON file. Interface Settings opens the profile and AI connection setup. Popup Mode closes the side panel, opens the popup assistant, and makes future toolbar clicks open the popup. Side Panel Mode makes the Chrome toolbar icon open the side-panel assistant. The popup and side-panel assistant both extract job posts and generate application messages. Notes This extension does not auto-submit applications. The autofill feature fills only the checked fields and never clicks Send Email. Review every generated message before sending. Keep your profile accurate so generated messages stay truthful. Job details are sent to Ollama Cloud only when you generate or improve a message.
