AwardChecker
Overview
Check your Hyatt awards and create a 10-minute viewing code without giving another person your password.
AwardChecker shows the awards Hyatt currently returns for the account already open in Chrome, and lets you share a verified copy of that list. Choose Check Hyatt and sign in directly on Hyatt. AwardChecker groups your awards in one clear list with: - counts and expiration dates; - whether each award can be transferred; - a masked member number; - the time Hyatt was checked. You never enter your Hyatt password in AwardChecker. Sign-in expiry. AwardChecker stops Hyatt requests before the current sign-in token expires. If your sign-in needs refreshing, open Hyatt normally, sign in there if asked, and retry. Hyatt may refresh the token during normal account navigation. 10-minute codes. When you choose Create 10-minute code, AwardChecker uses your current Hyatt sign-in to recheck the list on its fixed server. Another AwardChecker user can enter the code to see the masked list and the check time. The code expires after ten minutes, and you can stop it sooner. A code confirms a recent award list. It does not identify the person, reserve an award, handle payment, or complete a transfer. AwardChecker marketplace. On the AwardChecker website (award-marketplace.vercel.app), you can connect Hyatt once to keep the awards you list there verified. - Syncs. After you choose Allow & connect, AwardChecker syncs while you use the marketplace. It reads your Hyatt profile and awards in an open Hyatt tab, or in one opened briefly in the background. It then sends that Hyatt session to AwardChecker's verifier, which makes fixed read requests and doesn't keep the session. - Your own gift details. When you open a gift-request or trade-offer form with a connected account, AwardChecker can fill empty fields with your own Hyatt name and membership number. You review them and explicitly agree to share them before submitting. - Preparing and sending a gift. Accepting a swap in an AwardChecker trade room opens or brings forward Hyatt's awards page, fills the recipient's membership number and last name on Hyatt's own “Gift Your Award” form, and stops at Hyatt's confirmation screen without sending. Each member then reviews the trade and chooses Confirm and send on AwardChecker. Only after both gifts are prepared and both members give that final approval does each browser send its own gift. A browser may send before the other; an error can leave only one gift sent. You still enter Hyatt's emailed confirmation code yourself. - Disconnecting. You can disconnect anytime in My account. Removing AwardChecker's Hyatt access also disconnects it. - First install. Installing AwardChecker opens the marketplace's setup page. Updates don't open any tabs. What gets shared. Syncs and codes show other members only a masked member number. Ordinary checks keep your filtered profile, including full name and member number, in Chrome session storage for the current browser session. Recipient details go to the other member of the exchange after you agree to share them. AwardChecker doesn't save the temporary Hyatt session headers it uses for server checks. Gift preparation is limited to accepted swaps you set up in a room, and sending requires both members' final approval. Desktop Chrome only. To view a 10-minute code, both people need AwardChecker. Independent from and not endorsed by Hyatt.
