Grid Dial

New tab page: a grid of sites with thumbnails, groups, multiple pages and a copy of the bookmarks toolbar.

Grid Dial replaces the new tab page with a clean grid of your favorite sites, shown as live page thumbnails. Features: • Visual grid of sites. Each tile shows a thumbnail of the page, and you set the grid size for each page. • Multiple pages, shown as tabs above the grid (for example, "Work" and "Home"). • Groups: put several links into one tile, like a folder on a phone home screen. • Drag and drop to rearrange tiles, move them into groups, reorder pages, or drop a link from the address bar or another page. • A copy of your bookmarks toolbar at the top of the page, with folders as drop-down menus. • A toolbar button adds the current page to the grid in one click. • Thumbnails refresh on their own when you visit a site; how often is up to you. You can also refresh them all, one page at a time, or upload your own image for any tile. • Background: a custom color or your own image. • Sync pages, links, groups and settings between computers through your browser account (Chrome or Edge sync). • Export and import a backup file. You can also import from Group Speed Dial. • English and Russian interface. How thumbnails are made: Chrome can only capture a visible tab. To make a thumbnail, Grid Dial opens the site in a small window in the corner of the screen for a few seconds, then closes it. Privacy: Grid Dial collects no data and has no servers. All data stays in your browser. If you turn on sync, your pages and settings go through your own browser account. Site icons are loaded from the sites themselves, not from third-party services.
