LightPath PureAudio — Bad-Word Filter
Overview
Mutes profanity, blasphemy, and crude language in real time and masks matching closed captions during family video playback.
LightPath PureAudio Shield protects family movie night by automatically muting profanity, blasphemy, and crude language in real time—and masking matching closed-caption words to [•••]—during online HTML5 video playback. HOW IT WORKS: 1. Open your movie or show in your browser and ensure Closed Captions (CC) are turned ON in the video player. 2. LightPath PureAudio Shield inspects caption cues 100% locally inside your browser (zero video, audio, or browsing history ever leaves your device). 3. Whenever a blocked word appears, audio mutes cleanly for ~2 seconds and unmutes automatically as dialogue continues. You can also cast or mirror your browser tab to watch clean audio on your living-room Smart TV. FEATURES: • Independent toggles for Blasphemy, Profanity, Preschool Mode (bratty or crude talk), and On-Screen Subtitle Masking • Custom Family Blocked-Word List • Includes 30 Free Real-Time Word Cancels to test on your own streams before unlocking an optional Unlimited Family Pass at https://childschedules.com/pristine/ • Operates in compliance with the U.S. Family Movie Act of 2005 (17 U.S.C. § 110(11))
