Prefire Demo Bridge

Hands FACEIT demo download links to the Prefire desktop app, or to Prefire's web study when the app isn't running.

Prefire Demo Bridge hands a FACEIT match demo straight to the Prefire app on your computer, with no file to hunt for in your Downloads folder. Prefire is a pre-match study app for CS2: it reads your opponent's last demo on the map you are about to play and shows where they actually hold, on CT and T, where they throw their grenades and where they get their kills. That takes the demo, and FACEIT only hands a demo to someone who presses download. That is where this extension comes in. How it works • In Prefire, pick the player you want to study, and the app opens their match room on FACEIT. • In that tab, the extension highlights FACEIT's "Watch demo" button and says what to do. • When you click it, the extension hands the demo link to Prefire, which downloads it, unpacks it and opens it on the player you picked. The tab closes itself. • If the app is not open, the demo saves to your Downloads as usual, and the room offers "Send to Prefire again" as soon as you open the app. Why install it • One click instead of downloading, unpacking and dragging a file of several hundred MB. • You stay in control: the extension never clicks for you. FACEIT's download always starts with your own click. • It only acts in match rooms Prefire itself opened. On any other FACEIT page, and for any other download, it does nothing. Privacy The demo link goes only to the Prefire app on your own computer (127.0.0.1), never to Prefire's servers or anyone else. The extension does not read your FACEIT account, messages or cookies, and has no analytics or tracking.
