does exactly what you expect it to do. if you never want to see those spam websites or clickbait articles from pcgamer ever again? its this easy, it might not be "perfect" sometimes on the search youll see the blocked site pop up for a split second then vanish. although im not sure if its a pro or con, feelsgudbruh seeing it just vanish immediately.
