)Overview
Find and verify links on webpages. Check anchors, attributes and indexing, and manage temporary URL–anchor pairs.
Find and verify links you have placed without losing track of the expected anchor text. Link Assistant scans the page you are viewing for links to your domains and URLs in temporary memory. It shows the actual anchor, destination, follow attribute, and exact anchor match in a compact panel. Use “Show on page” to jump to the link and highlight it. • Add URLs and anchors manually, from Google Docs or Google Sheets after pressing “Remember,” or import a two-column CSV file. • Check links with several expected anchors for the same URL. • Review HTTP status, canonical, robots directives, and page link counts. • Export the current matches and your findings log as CSV. • Choose when found links leave temporary memory. • Use light, dark, or system appearance. To start, add your domain in Settings or import a CSV with URL and Anchor columns. Then open the page where you expect the link and click the Link Assistant icon. Your temporary memory and reports are stored locally in Chrome. No account is required. The Google Index shortcut opens a manual Google search; technical indexing checks do not guarantee that a page is included in search results.
