Teardown
Overview
Record a walk through any product as an honest, comparable teardown.
Teardown records a walk through any site and turns it into an honest briefing: the pages that exist, the ones you opened, the ones you only linked, and what each screen is made of. Not a screenshot dump. A map you can read in one sitting and paste into a critique. How it works 1. Click Record and walk the product the way a user would. One shot. No setup. 2. Open the briefing. Places, coverage, and page anatomy are counted from the walk, not guessed. 3. Open the canvas for the sitemap. Walked routes sit in full. Linked-but-unwalked routes stay on the graph, dimmed as Unseen, so you never pretend you saw the whole product. 4. Export when you are done: Copy Markdown for Notion, Linear, or GitHub. Download MDX, JSON, or the .teardown file. Built for designers, researchers, and PMs who tear products apart for a living. Competitive reviews, signup audits, IA critiques, the same job, without a 40-minute recording nobody rewatches. Honest by design • Confirmed, Inferred, and Unseen are marked everywhere. Inferences are never dressed as facts. • Everything stays on this device until you export. No account. No cloud. • Form values, cookies, tokens, and passwords are never stored. • You grant access per site, when you record it. Walk the product. Leave with a briefing instead of a pile of stills.
