Overview
Shows Gmail unread counts on the badge and manages multiple accounts in Options.
Gmail Unread Tracker lets you check Gmail unread mail from your Chrome toolbar. It checks the accounts you add at your chosen interval and shows their combined inbox unread count on the extension badge. Delegated inboxes are listed separately and are not included in that total. • See the combined inbox unread count for tracked accounts on the toolbar badge. • Open unread mail for an account from the popup. Choose all unread mail, inbox unread mail, or unread mail outside the inbox. • Spot labels with unread mail in Gmail's sidebar and open their unread messages directly. • Choose a primary account, aggregate accounts, and a check interval of 1, 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Add delegated inboxes separately for quick access. Unread counts are retrieved from Gmail's Atom feed. Account addresses, unread counts, settings, and fetch status are stored locally in Chrome. The extension does not send this data to a developer-operated server. Individual message bodies and subjects are not displayed, saved, or analyzed.
