Expanding it only shows "🔒 Protected folder"; enter the right PIN and your bookmarks return to the folder for a while, then hide themselves again automatically. • Icon your way: blue padlock or the site's own icon, your choice. • Encrypted backup: download everything you protected into a file encrypted with your own PIN, so you never lose it. • Sync across computers: bring your protected bookmarks to another computer through your Chrome account, always encrypted with your PIN — we never see your data. • Built for privacy: everything is stored locally on your device. PRIVACY, IN PLAIN TERMS Your PIN is never stored as plain text, only a secure hash.
