Murmur — private chat
Overview
End-to-end encrypted floating chat. Messages exist on the server only until they are delivered.
Chat without leaving the page — and without leaving a trace on the server. Server address: https://dreamgraph.cloud Murmur opens a floating chat window in the corner of your screen, on top of any website. You read a news article, search, or work, and the conversation continues there, sideways, without switching tabs. True Privacy • End-to-end encryption: messages are encrypted in your browser and only the recipient can open them. • Nothing is saved: the server keeps the encrypted message only until delivery and then deletes it. You see when this happens: “Delivered and deleted from the server”. • Security code to verify contacts and automatic notification if someone's key changes. • The window runs isolated from the page you visit: no website can read your chat. Your Way • Drag the window wherever you want and adjust the size. • Control the transparency to see the page behind. • Choose the colors, the light or dark theme, and the text size. • Shortcut Alt+Shift+M to open and close. • Hide Murmur on specific websites. To chat with one person or many: • Direct conversations by nickname, which is unique and is your identity. • Groups where everyone talks. • One-way channels for announcements: you publish and members receive them. • Public groups appear in search results. Private groups only accept those with an invitation or code. Also includes: • Reply, copy, and delete for everyone. • Notifications and message counter on the icon. • Management of connected devices. • Available in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and Russian. Important: Murmur connects to a Murmur server, which may be your company's, school's, or community's. On first opening, enter the address that the administrator gave you. The password also protects your encryption key, so it cannot be recovered. Keep it safe.
