Simple Proxy

Set a proxy for Chrome only. Supports HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, SOCKS5, PAC scripts and rule-based routing.

Simple Proxy lets you switch Chrome's proxy from the toolbar in one click, without touching system settings. Other browsers and apps are not affected. The proxy only applies to Chrome. FEATURES • Four modes: Direct, System, Auto (rules) and a specific proxy • HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 proxies • Add several protocols at once: each one becomes its own entry in the list, so you can pick HTTP or SOCKS5 of the same server separately • A protocol badge on every entry, so profiles with the same name are easy to tell apart • PAC scripts, by URL or pasted inline • Rule-based routing: send chosen domains, wildcards, IP ranges or URLs to the proxy you want, and everything else to a default (first matching rule wins) • Bypass list for local and private addresses • Username and password for HTTP and HTTPS proxies • Toolbar icon turns blue when a proxy is in use and gray for a direct connection • Export and import your settings as a file • Light and dark theme PRIVACY All settings, including proxy passwords, are stored only in your browser's local extension storage. The extension has no server, no analytics and no ads, and sends nothing to the developer. GOOD TO KNOW • Chrome does not support username and password for SOCKS proxies, so login works for HTTP and HTTPS proxies only. • If another extension or a browser policy controls the proxy, the toolbar icon shows "!" and the settings here have no effect.
