Overview

Your time and the Nepali (BS) date on a living-sky new tab, world clock, converter, timer, alarms and countdowns. Made in Nepal.

What Katibajyo is Katibajyo is a free, fast world-time website. Open it anywhere and it shows the exact time where you are, the date in both the Nepali (Bikram Sambat) and Gregorian calendars, and the time in any city on Earth. Around that sit dozens of everyday time tools: a world clock, time zone converter, meeting planner, stopwatch, timers, alarm, Nepali date converter, calendars, countdowns and more. The name comes from the most common question in Nepal: “Kati bajyo?”, which means “What time is it?” Why we built it Millions of Nepalis live and work across time zones, from Doha and Kuala Lumpur to Sydney, London and New York. Families plan calls across a 9-hour gap, students count down to exam results, and businesses schedule meetings with partners on three continents. Most time websites ignore the Nepali calendar, the +5:45 offset and the festivals that matter here. Katibajyo puts them first, and still works for everyone, everywhere. What makes it different Accurate time. Your clock is checked against our server, and the page tells you if your device is fast or slow. Your place, automatically. We show your city, sunrise and sunset, today’s moon phase and lunar day (tithi), and the holidays where you are. Two calendars side by side. Bikram Sambat and Gregorian dates, festivals, public holidays and international days. Instant and offline. Pages switch without reloading, and the app keeps working without a connection once installed. Private by design. Your cities, alarms and settings stay on your own device. There are no accounts. Who makes Katibajyo? Katibajyo is designed and built in Nepal by Satya Joshi. It is independent and supported by readers. If it helps you, you can support the project. How accurate is the time on Katibajyo? Time zone rules come from the IANA time zone database used by every major operating system, and your device’s clock is compared with our server so the time shown is usually correct to within a fraction of a second.
