I don't know why it has only 2.8 stars, it works as intended and it's really useful!

Disappointed I always accidentally click the X, but before this works, go to your extensions, click on the 3 dots, and enable closure confirmation. It only works on websites you confirm it on, which is annoying, so just confirm it on a tab you always have open BUT you have to enable it everytime you open chrome.

I think Chrome should support this feature natively as web apps are so critical to peoples' workflows now.

It works as described, but the setting doesn't last through a confirm cycle: once you've marked a page for closure confirmation, you need to confirm if you close that page. After you've confirmed and closed it once, it is no longer marked for confirmation. So it won't serve my purpose: prevent exiting Chrome by accident. To accomplish this I'd have to open a tab and mark it for confirmation every time I start the Chrome browser. I'd never remember to do this until it's too late! I'm relucta... Show more
