Overview

One-click sync of Jira issues to Google Docs for NotebookLM analysis.

Turn Jira tickets into Google Docs that NotebookLM can actually use as sources — kept current with one click instead of copy-pasting. WHAT IT DOES Open any Jira issue and sync it to a Google Doc containing the title, description, status, comments, and linked issues. Re-syncing updates the same doc in place — it never creates duplicates or appends stale copies. • Sync a single ticket, or an Epic together with every child ticket • Pull the complete changelog history into a separate document — every status change, field edit, and comment, in order • New documents for an Epic are auto-titled with the Epic and all its child keys, so the source is identifiable in NotebookLM at a glance • Every sync reports what changed — word count, ticket count, percent difference — so you know a doc is current without opening it • Link to a document you already use, or create a new one and choose where it's saved in Drive WHY GOOGLE DOCS NotebookLM reads Google Docs as sources. This extension is the bridge: it keeps a Doc's content matched to Jira's current state, so your NotebookLM notebook stays grounded in what the ticket actually says today — not what it said when you first pasted it in. PRIVACY BY DESIGN The extension only ever touches documents you create through it or explicitly choose via Google's own file picker — it cannot see, list, or search the rest of your Drive. It runs entirely in your browser: no backend server, no analytics, no data sent anywhere except Google's and Jira's own APIs. Full privacy policy: https://acme.zone/jira-notebooklm/privacy.html GETTING STARTED 1. Install and sign in with Google 2. Open a Jira issue in your browser 3. Click the extension icon and choose "Sync This Ticket" (or "Sync Ticket & Children" on an Epic) 4. Add the resulting Doc as a source in NotebookLM Works with any Jira Cloud site (*.atlassian.net). Requires a Google account for Docs/Drive.
