Overview

Shows subtasks below parent cards on Jira boards and as a hover tooltip on the backlog.

Jira Subtask Visibility makes subtasks visible without leaving the board. On a sprint board, subtasks appear as a compact, collapsible list directly below each parent card — with status badges, assignee avatars, and a clickable row that opens the subtask in a new tab. On the backlog, hover an issue key to see its subtasks in an inline tooltip. A floating "Refresh Subtasks" button is available; subtasks also re-fetch automatically as you scroll new rows into view. Sort order (default / key / status / assignee) is configurable from the options page and applies to both the board and backlog views. Privacy: the extension only runs on *.atlassian.net pages you visit. It uses your existing Jira session — no credentials are stored, no data leaves your browser, and no analytics or tracking are included. The only thing saved (via chrome.storage.sync) is your sort-order preference and the on/off toggle.
