Jira Columns Manager
Overview
Manage Jira issue table columns with add/remove and drag-and-drop ordering.
Jira Columns Manager improves Jira Issue Navigator by making column customization faster and easier. ⨠What it does - Adds a `+` button directly in the issue table header. - Opens a searchable dropdown with available Jira fields. - Lets users add or remove columns without leaving the page. - Supports drag-and-drop reordering of selected columns. - Saves column configuration using Jira's native user columns API. š Where it works - Jira Issue Navigator page: - `https://<your-jira-domain>/issues/?jql=*` š¤ How data is handled - The extension runs locally in your browser. - It only communicates with your Jira instance to: - read available columns (`GET /rest/gadget/1.0/availableColumns`) - save selected columns (`PUT /rest/api/2/user/columns`) - No remote third-party code is loaded at runtime. - No analytics, ads, or tracking beacons are included.
