🔍 How it works ----------------------------- Instafn is a browser extension that modifies the Instagram website to improve your experience. It injects modifications and intercepts data sent from the Instagram server. Toggle features on and off in the settings according to your liking. ⚙️ Features ----------------------------- 🎬 Media Downloader ------ Lets you download anything on Instagram in the highest quality, straight from Instagram. Adds download buttons to posts, reels, stories, profile pictures, voice notes, and DM media. 👤 Profile Features ------ - Follow Status Indicator: Displays whether a user follows you on their profile page. - Profile Comments: Adds a comment section to profile pages (visible to other extension users). - Profile Picture Popup: Long press a profile picture to see an enlarged view. - Highlight Popup: Long press a highlight to see an enlarged view. - Follow Analyzer: Analyze followers and following lists to track unfollows and users who don't follow back. - Profile Grid Columns: Choose how many columns the profile grid displays. - Show Date on Post Hover: Displays a post's date alongside its like and comment counts on hover. 🎨 Themes ------ - Native DM Themes: Displays the chat themes you've set on mobile, including backgrounds and colour schemes, on Instagram web. ☑️ Action Confirmations ------ Prevent accidental actions by requiring confirmation for: - Likes - Comments - Calls - Follows - Reposts - Story Quick Reactions - Story Replies 🔒 Privacy & Receipts ------ - Block Story Seen Receipts: Prevents automatically marking stories as seen when you view them. - Manual Mark as Seen Button: Adds a button to manually mark stories as seen. - Block Typing Receipts: Blocks typing receipts from being sent in messages. 🎥 Video & Media ------ - Universal Video Scrubber: Adds video controls (scrubber, time, duration) to all videos including reels, stories, and feed posts. - Hold for 2x Speed: Hold a video to play it at double speed. - Drag Carousel Dots: Drag the carousel dots to scrub through carousel images. 💬 Messages ------ - Double-Tap to Like: Double tap a message to like it. - Quick Reply: Shortcut (Ctrl/Cmd + Up) to reply to the last message. - Quick Edit: Shortcut (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Up) to edit your last message. - Message Logger: Logs deleted messages locally so you can still read them. 🖱️ Navigation ------ - Hide Suggested Accounts - Hide Footer - Hide Right Sidebar - Hide Recent Searches - Disable specific tabs: Search, Explore, Reels, Messages, Notifications, Create, Also from Meta. 🖥️ Display ------ - Call Timer: Shows elapsed time during calls. - Exact Time: Replaces relative dates with exact timestamps in your preferred format. - Backup: Export and import all your extension settings. 🐛 Bugs and Features ------ If you see a bug or want to request a new feature please open an issue under Instafn's GitHub repo: https://github.com/xafn/instafn
