Mello for Trello — every board, one table
Overview
Every card from every Trello board you're on, in one table you can sort, filter and group. No API key, no account to make.
Every card from every Trello board you're on, in one table. Mello is a different way to look at your Trello boards: one flat list, like a spreadsheet or an issue tracker. One row per card, one column per thing you'd want to know: board, list, labels, members, due date, when it was last touched, and when it was created. Click a header to sort. Type to filter. Click a value to change it. A board is good for a standup. "What am I doing today?" is a list, and usually a list that crosses six boards. Mello gives you that list. No API key, no token, no account to make. It uses the Trello sign-in you already have in this browser. Your boards stay exactly as they are; everything you change in Mello happens in Trello, where everyone else sees it. WHAT IT DOES • One table across every board. Fifty cards from six boards, on one screen, one line each. • Sort by anything, across boards: due date, last activity, name, board, list, labels, members, and the date each card was created, which Trello never shows you. • Group by board, list, member, label or due date (Overdue / Today / This week / Later). Same-named lists from different boards merge into one group. • Quick filters: Mine, Overdue, Due soon, No due date, Done, and Stale (cards nobody has touched in 60 days, or however many you pick). Label filters, and live search as you type. • Deep search: look inside descriptions, comments and archived cards, with Trello's own search words (due:week, @me, label:red, is:archived). • Recent: what happened on your boards lately, as sentences, grouped by day, or the whole history of one card. • Rank your own priorities: drag cards into a #1, #2, #3 order that spans every board. It stays in your browser and changes nothing anyone else sees. • Edit in place: due dates, start dates, lists, members, labels, checklists and comments, right from the row. Click a card's name to open it in a quick view without leaving your list. • Bulk actions: tick fifty cards and close, assign, set a due date or archive them all at once, with one Undo. • Undo for nearly everything, and it really reverses things. • A card view when you want the board back, spanning every board at once. Drag cards between lists, drop files on a card to attach them. • A calendar: every card on the day it's due. Drag a card to another day, or to another half-hour on a day, to move its due date. • Stays current on its own: changes made in Trello show up within seconds, with nothing to refresh. • Keyboard shortcuts for all of it (press . for the list). • Light, dim and dark themes. BACK UP EVERYTHING Export the cards in view, or the ones you've ticked, as CSV or YAML, as a single page that opens anywhere offline, or as a PDF. Include every comment in full, and every attachment, packed into one .zip with a list of what was packed, what was skipped and why. Run it before you need it. YOUR DATA Mello talks to Trello and to nothing else unless you add a server of your own. There are no analytics, no tracking and no Mello account. Your settings and your ranking live in your browser. YOUR OWN SERVER (OPTIONAL) Mello can also show boards from a Mello server you run yourself, in the same table as your Trello boards. Most people never need one; the guide inside the extension explains it. Mello is an independent project. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Trello or Atlassian. Trello is a trademark of Atlassian.
