Web Collector for MAXQDA

Can't Successfully download usable data

I am having issues importing data from the web. I think the problem is with the extension as the data downloaded seems to be the issue. The name of the file downloaded is a long code, not the name I have given the file and the file itself is not the preview document but series of code.
I have submitted a query to MAXQDA to make sure the issue is not related to my software, but after initial discussion with them, I believe it is the extension that is the problem.
I really need this problem fixed ASAP, if possible and I am available to discuss.
