Inspect what the browser is actually rendering—without sending the page anywhere. CHCZ Design Checker is an on-demand, local inspection tool for web designers, SEO specialists, developers, and content teams. Click the toolbar icon to scan the current top-level document. Results are grouped into Errors, Warnings, Manual Review, and Passed checks, with direct navigation to affected elements. WHAT IT CHECKS • Page metadata View the current page title and meta description as factual page information, without an arbitrary ranking score. • Heading structure Find missing H1 headings, multiple H1 headings, empty headings, and skipped heading levels. Use the visual lens to see H1–H6 elements in context. • Image alt text and sizing Distinguish a missing alt attribute from an intentionally empty alt="". Flag empty alt text for human review and identify images that may be oversized for their rendered dimensions. • Empty and placeholder links Find anchors with a missing or empty destination, bare # placeholders, JavaScript placeholders, and page fragments whose target is absent. This is intentionally not an HTTP status or 404 checker. • Text and functional icon contrast Calculate WCAG 2.2 AA contrast for visible DOM text, placeholder text, and identifiable functional SVG icons. Use 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and icons. Complex backgrounds and artwork are sent to Manual Review instead of being reported as certain failures. • Viewport overflow Locate likely left- or right-side overflow while excluding intentional horizontal scroll containers and repeated parent-level results. AI SEARCH VISIBILITY • Page eligibility signals Inspect robots meta and snippet controls, canonical identity, parseable JSON-LD types, declared language, and primary-content semantics. • Current-site crawler access When you open the checker, automatically check the selected URL's public response headers, robots.txt rules for Googlebot, Bingbot, OAI-SearchBot, and PerplexityBot, limited Sitemap coverage, and the optional llms.txt proposal format. • Evidence, not a GEO score Results confirm observable technical conditions. They do not claim that a page is indexed, cited, ranked, or included in any AI answer. DESIGN TOOLS • Sample visible H1, H2, paragraph, and body typography. • Extract the most-used visible text and background colors. • Use grayscale and squint-blur simulations to review hierarchy and contrast. PRIVACY BY DESIGN CHCZ Design Checker runs only after you click it. Page inspection happens locally in your browser. It does not upload page content, crawl page links, use analytics, or collect personal data. Live AI visibility checks make uncredentialed requests only to the selected URL and that same site's public robots.txt, Sitemap, and llms.txt. The only saved preference is your selected interface language. SCOPE Each report is a snapshot of the current top-level document. Cross-origin frames, closed Shadow DOM, images of text, and content or interaction states added after a scan require separate inspection or a rescan. Results identify implementation evidence and review points; they do not guarantee search rankings or complete accessibility conformance.
