Overview

SIP softphone in the browser side panel - calls, transfers, conferencing, messaging and click-to-call phone links.

WebRTC Phone is a full SIP softphone that lives in Chrome's side panel. Sign in to your own SIP account and make and receive calls without leaving the page you're working on. CALLING • Audio calls over SIP/WebRTC with answer, reject, hold and mute • Blind and attended call transfer • 3-way conference calls, mixed locally in the browser • DTMF keypad, live call timer and call state • Incoming-call notifications with Answer / Reject buttons, even when Chrome isn't focused DIALING • Click-to-call: click a phone link on any website to call it instantly • Or right-click a phone link and choose "Call with WebRTC Phone" • Dial by plain number — your account's domain is added automatically • Accepts formatted numbers like (555) 123-4567 FOR DEVELOPERS • JavaScript API: let your CRM or web app place, answer and end calls, and pop up customer records on incoming calls • Each website must be allowed by the user first; manage allowed sites in Settings MESSAGING & CONTACTS • Send and receive SIP text messages in a threaded inbox • Contacts with live online / offline / busy presence • Click any contact to call or message AUDIO & SETTINGS • Choose your microphone and speaker, with independent volume controls • Noise cancellation toggle • Light and dark themes that follow your system setting PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything — settings, contacts, call history and messages — is stored only in your browser. There is no developer server, no analytics and no tracking. Websites only see your calls if you allow them. Log out to delete all of it. REQUIREMENTS A SIP account with a WebSocket (WSS) endpoint from your provider or PBX (for example Asterisk, FreeSWITCH or a hosted VoIP service). EASY SETUP Enter your server, username and password. No complicated SIP addresses needed. Dial plain numbers and your account's domain is added automatically.
