Import the Chinese captions of the YouTube video you are watching into Chinese Shadowing Studio — one click, no copying, no downloading. • Works with uploaded and auto-generated Chinese captions, including videos where the caption list is hidden behind the player's CC button. • Reads the captions from the player you already have open (the same data YouTube downloads to show subtitles) and hands them to the studio with their timings intact. • No account, no analytics, no servers: the captions go straight from your browser to the studio tab, where the lesson is stored on your device. • If a video has no Chinese captions, the extension says so and lists the languages it found, so you know to import an .srt/.vtt file instead. Chinese Shadowing Studio itself is free and browser-only: word-by-word pinyin, sentence loops, ear-first practice, vocabulary and Anki export — nothing to install beyond this extension.
