Local MDX Dictionary lets you look up words and phrases on webpages using dictionaries you import yourself. View the original dictionary entries in a convenient popup while reading. Features: * Import multiple MDX dictionaries and search them together * Import matching MDD resource files for dictionary images and audio where supported * Look up words by clicking, selecting text, or optionally hovering * Look up selected text in any language, including phrases * View original dictionary entry formatting in an isolated, non-executable display * Edit the lookup text in the popup, with optional automatic lookup while typing * Choose whether the popup appears above or below the selected text * Choose whether to show a popup when no entry is found * Test dictionary lookups directly from the extension popup * Interface languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean Getting started: 1. Open the extension and import your own compatible .mdx dictionary files. 2. If available, import their matching .mdd resource files. 3. Click a word or select text on a webpage to look it up. Enable hover lookup if preferred. No dictionaries are bundled. Dictionary compatibility and the available definitions, pronunciations, images and audio depend on the files you import. Dictionary files and lookups are processed locally on your device. No account, API key or online dictionary service is required.
