Stop writing "it's broken, can you look?" BugSpray records exactly what happened in your browser – the screen, the console, the network – so whoever fixes the bug sees it the way you did. Click record, reproduce the problem, click stop. BugSpray uploads the session to your BugSpray workspace and opens a replay with everything a developer needs, lined up on one timeline. WHAT EACH RECORDING CAPTURES • Video of the tab you choose to record • Console logs, warnings and errors, with the file and line they came from • Network requests: method, status, timing, headers and bodies, with auth headers and cookies redacted • Clicks, typing, page navigation and performance metrics • WebSocket activity, page storage sizes and the tech stack the page runs on BUILT FOR REAL BUG HUNTING • Instant replay buffer: keep the last 60 seconds running in the background and save it the moment something goes wrong – no need to reproduce the bug again • Auto-save on error: the buffer saves itself when the page throws an error • Screenshot and annotate: capture the tab, draw, highlight and add notes • Request a recording: send a link to a customer or teammate so they can record the problem for you • Turn a recording into a ticket in your workspace, or send it to Jira, ClickUp or Slack • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+R to start or stop recording, Alt+S for a screenshot PRIVACY BY DEFAULT • Nothing is recorded until you press record, and only the tab you choose • PII redaction blurs sensitive content on the page before it is captured • Block domains you never want recorded, such as banking or email • Authorization headers and cookie values are redacted from network logs • Recordings go only to your own BugSpray workspace and are never sold or shared HOW IT WORKS 1.
