Overview
Find your bookmarks without losing folder context, add notes, and search by title, URL, or note. Fast and local.
JH Bookmarks & Notes lets you add custom notes to your bookmarks to give them an extra layer of detail. It helps you quickly find your favorites through content and note-based search, always showing the folder path where they are stored so you never lose the context of your current structure. It also includes alphabetical sorting options and an edit mode for quick maintenance tasks. MAIN FEATURES: CUSTOM NOTES: add comments to any bookmark. The note icon is shown dynamically whenever a bookmark contains an annotation. RICH NOTE EDITOR: the built-in editor allows basic formatting for notes with bold, italic, underline, and lists. CLOUD SYNC: your notes and preferences are automatically synchronized across all your devices through your Google account (Chrome Sync). COMPREHENSIVE SEARCH: you can search by bookmark title or URL, folder name, or within your own notes. Search recognizes text with or without accents, supports approximate matches, and visually highlights where the result was found. ALPHABETICAL SORTING: lets you sort folders and bookmarks A-Z or Z-A, keeps the preference saved, provides quick access from the main view, and can apply that order to Chrome. EDIT MODE: adds a maintenance mode to delete bookmarks and empty folders in a controlled way directly from the popup. ACCESSIBILITY: designed following WCAG 2.2 guidelines. It includes a keyboard focus system with double-contrast rings, screen reader support, and optimized contrast. INTERFACE & DARK MODE: a simple design that respects system preferences and offers a native dark mode. PRIVACY: your bookmarks and notes are not sold or transmitted to external servers; data is securely synchronized through your Chrome user account. IMPORT & EXPORT: lets you manually back up and restore your configuration and saved notes. AVAILABLE IN 4 LANGUAGES: although Galician may not appear in the automatic extension summary shown by Google, it can be selected from the settings options.
