JH Bookmarks & Notes lets you add custom notes to your bookmarks for extra context. It helps you quickly find favorites by content or notes while always showing the folder path, so you keep the context of your current structure. It also includes address bar search, alphabetical sorting options, and an edit mode for quick maintenance tasks. MAIN FEATURES: CUSTOM NOTES: add comments to any bookmark. The note icon appears dynamically whenever a bookmark has a note. ADDRESS BAR SEARCH: type bm in Chrome's address bar to search without opening the panel first. You can filter by notes, bookmarks, URL, or folders. "bm" +n hello, look for 'hello' in your bookmarks' notes. FORMATTED NOTE EDITOR: the built-in editor supports basic formatting with bold, italic, underline, and lists. CLOUD SYNC: your notes and preferences sync automatically across your devices through your Google account using Chrome Sync. FULL SEARCH: search bookmark titles, URLs, folder names, or your own notes. Search handles accents, supports approximate matches, and visually highlights where each result was found. ALPHABETICAL SORTING: sort folders and bookmarks A-Z or Z-A, keep your preference saved, access sorting quickly from the main view, and apply that order in Chrome. EDIT MODE: maintenance mode lets you delete bookmarks and empty folders in a controlled way from the popup. ACCESSIBILITY: designed around WCAG 2.2 guidance, with keyboard focus using dual-contrast rings, screen reader support, and optimized contrast. INTERFACE AND DARK MODE: a simple interface that respects system preferences and includes native dark mode. PRIVACY: your bookmarks and notes are not sold or sent to external servers; data syncs securely through your Chrome user account. IMPORT AND EXPORT: manually back up and restore your settings and notes.
