Trali app transcribes what you're playing (web videos, livestreams, audio files) right in Chrome's side panel, then gives you a bilingual view and a structured summary. KEY FEATURES • Web video: click Start. Trali uses existing captions when available, or transcribes the audio you're playing. • Live: real-time transcription for livestreams and live audio rooms. • Local files: pick an audio or video file to transcribe. • Bilingual view: original line on top, translation below, with clickable timestamps. • Structured summary: topic sections, bold labels, numbered steps and action items. • Copy / Download: original, translation or both; export TXT, SRT, DOCX. • ⚠️ markers flag low-confidence lines for you to double-check. • Interface in 15 languages (English, Tiếng Việt, Español, Português, Français, Deutsch, Bahasa Indonesia, Русский, 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, हिन्दी, العربية, Türkçe, ไทย): switch any time with the 🌐 picker next to Settings. Translations and summaries can target many languages. • Feedback built in: tap 💬 to report a bug or share an idea by email or GitHub issue (optional diagnostics never include API keys or transcripts). BRING YOUR OWN KEY No Trali server, no subscription. Enter your Groq API key (free tier at console.groq.com). Translation and summaries use Groq by default, or Gemini, Claude, OpenAI or OpenRouter if you choose. Any API charges are billed by that provider directly to you. PRIVACY • Audio is captured only after you click Start, and Chrome asks for permission first. • Audio and text go directly from your browser to the provider you chose, over HTTPS. • Keys, settings and transcripts stay on your device and can be deleted at any time. • No ads, no selling of data, no browsing-history tracking. NOTE Use only with content you are allowed to listen to and take notes on (lectures, meetings, public talks…). Trali does not download videos. Trali is not affiliated with Groq, Google or X.
