Overview

Offline dental tools: local anesthetic max-dose calculator, patient out-of-pocket estimator, and tooth numbering converter.

Three tools a dental office reaches for every day, in one popup that works with the internet switched off. ANESTHETIC MAXIMUM DOSE Enter the patient’s weight and pick an agent to get the maximum number of cartridges. The calculator checks the weight-based mg/kg limit, the absolute maximum dose and the vasoconstrictor ceiling at the same time, then tells you which one is actually governing — so you know whether you are limited by the anesthetic or by the epinephrine. Supports lidocaine, articaine, mepivacaine, prilocaine and bupivacaine, adult and pediatric mg/kg values, reduced epinephrine caps for cardiac-compromised patients, and 1.7, 1.8 and 2.2 mL cartridges. Agent-specific cautions appear automatically. PATIENT OUT-OF-POCKET ESTIMATOR Build a treatment plan line by line, enter the plan’s remaining deductible and annual maximum, and get a clear breakdown of what the plan pays and what the patient owes on each procedure. The deductible is applied only to categories that carry one, the annual maximum is drawn down in order, and you get a warning when the benefit runs out partway through the plan. One click copies a plain-text estimate for the chart or an email. TOOTH NUMBERING CONVERTER Convert instantly between Universal (US), FDI/ISO and Palmer notation for both permanent and primary teeth, with full tooth names and quadrants. Includes a clickable arch chart laid out from the clinician’s view. Useful whenever records arrive from outside the US, or when a lab, textbook or hygiene school uses a different system than your practice management software. PRIVACY Everything runs locally in the popup. There is no server, no account, no analytics and no network access whatsoever — the extension requests no host permissions at all. Patient weights, fees and plan details live in memory only and are gone when the popup closes. Reference aid for licensed dental professionals. Always confirm dosing against current manufacturer labeling. Insurance figures are estimates, not a guarantee of payment. https://amirrsyed.github.io/ChairsideToolkit/
