Canvas Pilot Connector

Read-only connector that syncs Canvas courses, deadlines, grades, and study content to your private Canvas Pilot account.

Canvas Pilot turns the coursework you can already see in Canvas into one organized, private study hub. After you install the connector, open your school’s signed-in *.instructure.com Canvas tab and choose Pair & sync in Canvas Pilot. The connector makes read-only requests from that tab, builds an allowlisted coursework snapshot, and uploads it to your own Canvas Pilot account. Your saved courses, modules, syllabi, readings, assignments, deadlines, grades, and completion status remain available in Canvas Pilot after that computer is off. Your Canvas password, browser cookies, CSRF values, and Canvas session tokens never leave Canvas. Canvas Pilot cannot submit assignments, start quizzes, change grades, or modify Canvas. Highlights: • One-click pairing and user-initiated sync from the Canvas Pilot website • Course and module map with deadlines, status, grades, and readable course content • Private cloud snapshot available on other devices after a successful sync • Optional read-only ChatGPT/MCP access that requires separate user authorization • Manual, user-directed import for visible Simple Syllabus text • No advertising trackers, no sale of coursework data, and no remotely hosted extension code Current limitation: the connector supports Canvas sites hosted at HTTPS subdomains of instructure.com. Custom school Canvas domains are not supported yet. Canvas Pilot is independent and is not affiliated with Instructure or Canvas.
