Session Daddy is a tab and session manager that helps you save your open tabs, bring them back later and keep your browser tidy. Save a set of tabs as a named session, restore it with one click, and let automatic saves protect your work if the browser closes unexpectedly. Everything is stored locally in your browser. SAVE AND RESTORE SESSIONS - Save the tabs in the current window or in all windows as a named session. - Pinned tabs and tab groups (name and color) are saved with the session. - Restore a session into the window you are using. Tabs that are already open are reused instead of opened again, and they are not reloaded. - Restored tabs are placed in a tab group named after the session so they are easy to find. - Newly opened tabs load only when you click them, which keeps memory use low. - Rename sessions, and undo a delete for a few seconds after removing one. AUTO-SAVE AND RECOVERY - Your open tabs are saved automatically every 5 minutes, and only when something has changed. - The three most recent auto-saves are kept. - If the browser did not bring your tabs back after it restarted, Session Daddy keeps them as a "Recovered session" you can restore. The two most recent recovered sessions are kept. FIND AND CLEAN UP TABS - See all tabs in the current window, with pinned tabs highlighted. - Pin or unpin a tab right from the list. - Sort tabs by domain or title. - Search tab titles and addresses across open tabs, saved sessions, recently closed tabs and recent bookmarks. - Find duplicate tabs and close the extra copies in one click. - Put inactive tabs to sleep to free up memory. They reload when you open them. - Reopen recently closed tabs. ACTIVITY CHART - A small chart shows how your tabs change over time: open tabs, sleeping tabs, estimated memory saved, computer memory in use, duplicates, forgotten tabs, and tabs opened and closed. - Choose which lines to show and view the last 24 hours, today, 7 days, 30 days or a custom date range. - The numbers are recorded every 5 minutes and kept for 90 days, on your device only. DASHBOARD - Open a full-page dashboard from the popup for an overview of every window at once. - See key numbers with 24-hour trends, a large activity chart, your top sites, tab health (active, sleeping and forgotten tabs), recent sessions and recently closed tabs. - Browse all open tabs grouped by window, and manage sessions, closed tabs and bookmarks with more room. MORE - Open Session Daddy in the side panel to keep it visible while you browse. - Export your sessions to a JSON file and import them again, for example to move them to another computer. - Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+S (Command+Shift+S on Mac) saves all open tabs as a session, Alt+Shift+O opens the popup, and Alt+Shift+P opens Session Daddy in the side panel. You can change them at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. PRIVACY - Your sessions are stored only on your device, in the extension's local storage. - Session Daddy does not collect, sell or send your browsing data anywhere. It has no accounts, analytics or ads. - Favicons shown in the list come from the websites you have open, the same way the browser shows them in your tab strip. Questions or feedback?
