Export HTML tables to CSV with a preview. Process data locally in your browser.
Still copying and pasting website tables, one at a time? Turn tables on the page you are viewing into CSV files. This Chrome extension reads the page’s tables, lets you choose the one you need, and saves it to your device. Use product lists, pricing tables and public data for comparisons, calculations and reports in Excel or other spreadsheet apps. Easy to use 1. Right-click the page and choose “Export this page's tables to CSV”. 2. Click “Read tables” and choose the table to save. 3. Check the preview and click “Save CSV”. Useful when you want to • Compare or total up a product list • Keep a copy of pricing or specification tables • Reuse public web data in a report Choose what you need, then check and save If a page has several tables, choose the one you want. Previewing the contents before saving helps you avoid exporting the wrong table. Works with Japanese and other languages Preserves text in different languages and line breaks inside cells. Merged cells are expanded into rows and columns. You can include or leave out the first row. CSV is a table-data file that Excel and other spreadsheet apps can read. No sign-up. Processing on your device. You do not need to register or visit another site to save a CSV. The extension processes table data on your device without uploading it. The panel includes a link to JIM-JIN’s CSV editing and merging tools. The site opens only when you click, without receiving your table data or the source page’s URL. Supported tables and saving tips • Converts loaded HTML tables into CSV. Some table-like layouts cannot be read, depending on how the page is built. • Tables in images, PDFs or embedded pages are not supported. The extension does not automatically collect the next page or rows that have not loaded yet. • Hidden content and form-field values are excluded. Limits: 5,000 rows, 100 columns, 100,000 cells and 5 MiB of text. Tables over the limit are not partially saved. • With Excel-safe output enabled, an apostrophe (') is added before values that might be interpreted as formulas, including signed numbers. Turn it off if you want to save the original strings. • To preserve leading zeros or long numbers in Excel, use Data → From Text/CSV and set the relevant columns to Text. Requires Chrome 142 or later. The interface follows Chrome’s display language and supports 18 languages. The table contents themselves are not translated. Start with a table on the page you are viewing. Cut down on copy and paste, and get on with using your data.
