Overview
Hide spoilers, politics, or any topic from your YouTube feed. AI catches it even when the title avoids your keyword. No sign-in.
You open YouTube to unwind, and the feed hands you the ending of the show you were saving, another round of crypto price shouting, and politics you didn't ask for. JevTube hides those videos before you scroll past them. No sign-in, no account, no key of your own to paste in. Install it, type a topic, and go back to YouTube. Type "movie and TV spoilers" and it hides ending explanations and finale breakdowns, while trailers and spoiler-free reviews stay. Type "crypto" and it also hides videos about Bitcoin or altcoins, even when the title never says crypto. Most keyword blockers only catch the exact word you typed; JevTube reads each video and judges what it is about. A topic can be one word or a whole sentence, like "politicians arguing on TV", in any language. Where it works • Your YouTube home feed • The Up next list beside the video you're watching • Search results, if you turn them on in Settings • The Shorts shelves on those pages The player, comments and the Shorts player are left alone. What you get • Blur matching videos (default) or hide them from the feed • Hover a blurred video to see which topic caught it, and click Show to bring it back • Skip channels you subscribe to (on by default) • One switch to blur or hide all Shorts • A sensitivity slider for when it hides too much or too little • Light and dark themes What it sends For each video card it judges, JevTube sends the title, channel name, length, whether it is live or a Short, the search snippet when there is one, and the video's ID to the JevTube server, together with your topics. The server uses the ID to look up the video's public description, tags and category through the YouTube API Services, and asks the Jev model (TypeSafe AI) how likely the video matches each topic. Nothing is stored after the answer. Your topics and settings stay in Chrome storage, with an anonymous install ID. The server keeps only daily counts of judged videos per install, for the free limit and usage statistics. Subscribed channel names are read from YouTube only to skip those channels and never leave your browser. Free Up to 2,000 videos a day are judged free per install; past that, videos simply show as usual until the next day. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
