Jesusfy
Overview
A pixel companion who watches your browsing, shares scripture, and shields you from temptation. All data stays on your device.
Meet Jesusfy — a tiny pixel-art Jesus who walks with you across the internet and helps you take back your time. WHAT IT DOES ⏱ Tracks your time on every website, day by day. A small parchment timer sits in the corner of the page (pick the corner, or turn it off) so you always know how long you've been scrolling. 🕊 Checks in when you've had enough. When a site passes your daily limit (you choose the minutes), pixel Jesus appears with one honest question: is this website an issue for you? Say no and he leaves until tomorrow. Say yes and he offers to keep you mindful there. 📜 The Love Scroll. On sites you choose, a full-page parchment reminds you that you are loved, with a short pause before you continue — enough to break the autopilot. You can write a message to Jesus; it is kept in a private prayer journal on your device. ✍ Scripture along the way. On your chosen sites, he shares a verse in a speech bubble every couple of minutes (World English Bible — modern, readable English). 🛡 A real shield against adult content. Known adult sites are stopped from loading entirely behind an impassable scroll — no "continue anyway" button. Add any site you personally want blocked and it takes effect instantly, even in tabs that are already open. 🎮 Made like a little game. A draggable pixel companion (three sizes), parchment scrolls, and old-scroll styling. Self-control doesn't have to be joyless. WHY INSTALL IT Most screen-time tools nag you with numbers and graphs. Jesusfy gives you something gentler and more personal: a companion who notices, asks, reminds, and guards — and never judges. Whether you want to cut down on doomscrolling, keep yourself away from certain sites for good, or simply enjoy a faithful little friend in the corner of your browser, Jesusfy makes the healthier choice the warmer one. 100% PRIVATE Everything — time data, settings, prayers — is stored locally on your device. No account, no servers, no analytics, no data collection of any kind. Only two permissions: storage (to save your settings on your device) and activeTab (to show the current site's status in the popup). --- Notes for the form: the store description field is plain text, so the bold headers won't render — the ALL-CAPS versions in the saved file handle that. Every claim in it matches what the extension actually does (I kept it honest — no "AI", no overpromising), which matters since reviewers do compare descriptions against behavior. Pair it with 2–3 screenshots at 1280×800 — the prompt bubble on a page, the Love Scroll, and the popup would tell the story well; I can generate those from my headless-Chrome harness if you'd like ready-made shots.
