Skill Vault keeps your best prompts one keystroke away, no matter which AI chat you are using. SAVE ONCE, USE EVERYWHERE Write a prompt you like, save it as a skill, and reuse it in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other web chat app you add. No more copy-pasting from notes or scrolling back through old conversations. TYPE /SKILL IN THE CHAT BOX Start typing /skill in the message field and a searchable list of your saved skills appears right where you are typing. Use the arrow keys to pick one and press Enter. The text is placed into the message box, and you decide when to send it. FILL IN THE DETAILS AUTOMATICALLY Build prompts that adapt to what you are doing. Insert the text you have selected on the page, today's date, the page title, or the page address, so the same skill works in any context. SAVE TEXT FROM ANY WEBSITE Found a prompt, a paragraph, or a set of instructions worth keeping? Select it, right-click, and choose "Save selection as Skill". The side panel opens with your draft ready to name and save. KEEP YOUR LIBRARY ORGANIZED Search, tag, and favorite your skills, edit them at any time, and export a backup file whenever you want. Deleted skills wait in the trash for 24 hours in case you change your mind. OPTIONAL WRITING HELP If you want, connect your own Google Gemini key and let it tighten up the wording and structure of a prompt while keeping your intent and requirements unchanged. This is entirely optional and the extension works fully without it. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your skills stay on your own computer inside the browser.
