Overview

Save the page you are looking at as a PDF, locally, in one click. No upload, no server, no account.

Save the page you are looking at as a PDF, locally, in one click. Other "save as PDF" tools send the page address to a server and convert a fresh copy there. That breaks on anything behind a login, anything dynamic, anything personal. Save Page as PDF prints the page exactly as it is rendered in your browser, on your computer, and downloads the file. Nothing leaves your machine. What you get - One click: toolbar button, right-click menu, or Alt+Shift+P. - Real PDFs: selectable text, working links, headings in the outline, backgrounds optional. - Your layout rules: pages that define @page sizes are respected. - Paper size (A4, Letter, Legal), portrait or landscape, margins or none, scale. - Filenames from the page title, with {title} {domain} {date} {time} tokens. - "Ask where to save" if you want the dialog every time. Pro (one-time license, no subscription) - Save every tab of the window at once. - Merge all tabs into one PDF. - Header and footer text on every page. Privacy - No account, no analytics, no tracking, no remote configuration. - The only network request the extension can ever make is the optional Pro license check, which sends your license key and nothing else. Permissions, in one line each - debugger: this is how Chrome lets an extension render a page to PDF locally. A yellow bar may appear for a moment while the PDF is generated and disappears when it is done. - downloads: to save the file. - activeTab: to read the title and address of the tab you clicked on. - storage: to remember your settings. - contextMenus: for the right-click entry. - notifications: to tell you when a page cannot be captured (Chrome blocks extensions on chrome:// pages and the Web Store). Not supported: chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, and other browser-internal pages.
