Anota Markdown Viewer displays Markdown (.md) files beautifully. Open a GitHub Raw page or a .md file on your computer, and it is shown nicely formatted right away. Like what you see? Save it to Anota, a Markdown note service, with one click. ■ Features - Opening a .md file shows it nicely formatted, automatically (headings, tables, lists, links, images) - Math (KaTeX), diagrams (Mermaid and more), and code highlighting - Works out of the box with local files (file://), GitHub Raw (raw.githubusercontent.com), and Gist - Add other sites in the settings (permission is requested only for the sites you add) - Open the viewer from the toolbar button and drop a file to view it - "Save to Anota" saves the Markdown you're viewing as an Anota note (start free with your Google account) - Optionally add the original URL at the end of the note (can be turned off in the settings) - To see the original text, add #anota-raw to the end of the URL ■ How to use 1. To keep it, click "Save to Anota" (sign in with your Google account the first time) To open files on your computer, turn on "Allow access to file URLs" in the extension's details. ■ Privacy - The extension reads only the content and URL of the .md files you open. It does not read other pages - The content is passed within your browser to the Anota viewer (https://app.anota.info/p/viewer) for display and is not sent to the server.
