AI Multi-Window Chat is an on-page, multi-window AI assistant for your browser. It lets you open multiple floating AI chat windows on any webpage, so you can read, write, translate, search, organize, and ask questions in parallel without leaving your current context. Key Features Parallel AI windows: Open multiple independent chat windows on the same page. Drag, resize, minimize, rename, layer, dock left/right, or switch to fullscreen. Selection-based prompting: Highlight webpage text and instantly open a new AI conversation for summarization, explanation, translation, rewriting, follow-up questions, or deeper analysis. Keyboard workflow: Press Alt+N to open a new AI window from the current selection, and Alt+M to close the topmost active window. History and export: Conversations are saved locally. Search, resume, delete, and export chats as Markdown or JSON. Prompt management: Create, edit, delete, import, and export reusable system prompts for consistent, high-quality workflows. Multiple provider profiles: Manage multiple OpenAI-compatible API configurations, switch between endpoints, keys, models, and defaults, with presets for OpenAI, DeepSeek, Qwen, and more. Advanced model controls: Supports both Chat Completions and Responses transports. Configure streaming, context window size, default temperature, and reasoning formats per model, including OpenAI reasoning summaries and reasoning_content. Web search: Optional Tavily-powered search with configurable depth, result count, search rounds, and time range. Tool calls, search sources, and results are shown directly in the conversation. Local-first design: API profiles, prompts, and chat history are stored locally in your browser. Requests are sent only to the API services you configure or explicitly enable.
