Tab Pilot
Overview
Type text into any tab key by key, inspect the page, and take screenshots, all through the Chrome DevTools Protocol.
Tab Pilot lets you control a browser tab from the extension popup: type text into it key by key, inspect the page, and capture screenshots, all through the Chrome DevTools Protocol. FEATURES • Pick any open tab from a list with titles and favicons • Type text into the selected tab key by key, with adjustable speed and natural variation • Inspect the selected page • Capture screenshots of the selected tab • Drafts and speed preferences saved locally • Optional: rewrite your text with the Clever AI service before typing (off by default, runs only when you click) • No account, no ads, no tracking USE CASES • Demos, tutorials and screen recordings with natural-looking typing • Testing and debugging web forms and text fields • Capturing screenshots of a specific tab while you work HOW IT WORKS Tab Pilot uses Chrome's debugger API to attach to the single tab you select, only after you press a button. While attached, Chrome shows a banner saying Tab Pilot started debugging this browser. This is expected, and it disappears when you stop. PRIVACY Drafts, settings and screenshots stay on your device. Text is sent to the Clever AI service (widgets.cleverhumanizer.ai) only if you click the optional rewrite button. Tab Pilot does not collect browsing history or sell data.
